"Anything dead coming back to life hurts.”

ABOUT

ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

I specialize in the prevention, assessment and treatment of psychological trauma. I have trained in numerous clinical environments that service survivors such as rape crisis centers, veterans administrations, prisons, children's hospitals, and adolescent group homes. I am trained with an ecological community centered approach to trauma. This means I recognize that spaces that support survivors need to address not just the primary trauma of survivors but the potential secondary trauma that can occur with those assisting or supporting survivors. I feel that healing spaces can be trauma informed by supporting their work force and creating realistic workplace boundaries and expectations in order to ensure helpers who feel supported and capable in their work with survivors.
